Blaauwberg House is centrally located (25 minutes from Cape Town central) in the original town of Blouberg Strand . The accommodation sleeps 6 and has two sea-facing rooms (with double beds, the master with en-suite bathroom) and one street-facing room (with two single beds). The sea-facing rooms have walkout sliding doors onto a raised wooden deck and large patio with braai facilities.

The upper level lounge (beautifully sunny with walkout balconies) is connected by spiral staircase to the lower level lounge (including a bathroom) that connects with the patio entertainment area. There is also a main bathroom (with bath and shower) and a small TV lounge with big screen satellite TV and DVD player. Unfortunately we do not have Internet access, but 3G/GPRS reception is good.

The kitchen has all self-catering appliances including an oven/hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and laundry facilities. The open plan layout of the kitchen flows into a dining area which in turn connects with the upper lounge.

This self-catering holiday house is 50m from the beach (Small Bay), so expect the sea to gently lull you to sleep! It’s also in close walking distance to Big Bay, which is a popular surfing, wind and kite surfing spot. The accommodation is also within 5 minutes walk from various restaurants in the area catering for different tastes.

Shopping and more restaurants are a short drive away and access to major routes for day tours to the Cape Winelands, Cape Town and surrounds are close by. Cape Town International Airport is 45 minutes by car. Whether you want to take long walks on the beach, get into the water or relax in the comfort of the beach house is up to you. The property allows you to literally step into outdoor activities when you feel like it.

Secure parking (double garage connected to the house) and an alarm system are also part of your peace of mind.

Smoking is restricted to the balconies and outdoor patio and regrettably no pets allowed. A cleaning service is also available on request.
